On August 26, 2026, the program “Launching the Plastics Circularity Journey 2026” was held in Ho Chi Minh City, kicking off a series of activities promoting the circular economy model in Vietnam's plastics sector.

Project Overview

  • Program Name: Launching the Plastics Circularity Journey 2026
  • Contractor: Melody Productionworx
  • Location: Ho Chi Minh City
  • Scope of Work: Exhibition booth, photobooth, stage lightboxes, and overall event space items
  • Construction Direction: Prioritizing sustainable, reusable materials and minimizing single-use components.

In this project, Melody Productionworx executed the display area and event space items following an eco-friendly approach. Rather than focusing solely on aesthetics and delivery timelines, the construction plan prioritized sustainable materials, reusable components, and the reduction of single-use materials.

Project Challenge

For an event conveying the message of plastic circularity, the exhibition space also needed to visually reflect this spirit.

Therefore, the construction items had to fulfill not only functional, finishing, and brand identity requirements, but also align with the program's sustainability direction in terms of material selection.

Melody Productionworx prioritized solutions that can be disassembled, preserved, and reused, while incorporating recycled materials into several key elements of the project.

Items Executed by Melody Productionworx

1. Flooring Installation Using Recycled Plastic Panels

One of the highlights of the project was the use of recycled plastic panels for the flooring.

The material was supplied by PLASTICPeople, a developer of recycled materials from plastic waste. PLASTICPeople's product line is made from plastic waste and can be continuously recycled. Their website also highlights properties such as rigidity, crack resistance, waterproofing, and versatility across diverse applications.

Within the overall event space, incorporating recycled materials into the flooring turned the construction itself into part of the story about resource reuse and extending material lifecycles.

Material: PLASTICPeople recycled plastic panels

Application: Flooring for event/exhibition areas

Orientation: Reuse and reduction of dependence on single-use materials

2. Utilizing Reusable Modular Aluminum Profiles

For the booth framework, Melody Productionworx utilized modular aluminum profiles instead of single-use structural solutions.

Modular aluminum frames offer the benefit of easy assembly, dismantling, and reconfiguration for different projects. After the event, the frame structure can be taken down, stored, and reused for upcoming programs with compatible dimensions and designs.

This is a fundamental approach to building booths oriented toward reusable exhibitions - minimizing newly manufactured components for each event.

3. SEG Fabric Graphics - Detachable and Reusable Visual Solutions

Graphic displays were deployed using SEG (Silicone Edge Graphic) tension fabric, making post-event disassembly and preservation much more convenient.

Instead of fixing graphics with methods that make materials difficult to reuse, the fabric prints can be detached from the frame after the event and stored for future use.

This solution is especially suitable for businesses frequently participating in exhibitions, brand activations, or events, as the same frame system can accommodate updated visual graphics for different campaigns.

Project Completion Photos

Following the construction process, the exhibition booths, photobooths, and stage lightboxes were cohesively completed, meeting all visual requirements while clearly demonstrating the commitment to sustainable materials.

Key Project Highlights

The Case Study “Launching the Plastics Circularity Journey 2026” demonstrates that creating a sustainable event space goes beyond communication messages and can be directly realized through material choices and execution methods.

Three prominent solutions implemented by Melody Productionworx include:

Recycled plastic panels for flooring

Directly incorporating recycled materials into the event space.

Modular aluminum profiles

Can be disassembled, stored, and reused for suitable future projects.

SEG tension fabric graphics

Can be detached post-event, stored, and repurposed instead of discarded after a single use.

These solutions help make the goal of reusing resources and extending material lifecycles a tangible part of the actual construction process.

Handover Results

Melody Productionworx successfully completed all assigned items for the program, including the exhibition booth area, photobooth, stage lightboxes, and related structures, with a key focus on using materials aligned with the program's circularity vision.

The project serves as a real-world example of combining exhibition and event construction with sustainable material solutions, where materials are not only used for a single event but are also prepared for disassembly, storage, and subsequent lifecycles.

Melody Productionworx - Sustainable Event Space Construction

From design and production to actual execution, choosing the right materials from the outset can make a significant difference in how an event space is utilized and handled after the event.

With the Case Study “Launching the Plastics Circularity Journey 2026”, Melody Productionworx implemented material solutions centered on sustainability, modularity, and reusability, matching the spirit of an initiative dedicated to the circular economy.

This is also the approach that Melody Productionworx offers for exhibition booths, showcase spaces, activations, and events when businesses seek to minimize single-use waste and maximize post-event reusability.
